National University Bangladesh Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Courses:

The National University Bangladesh has finally started its Skill-based Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Courses in addition to our regular on-campus programmes aiming at buildingup skilled human resources in Bangladesh. Through a rigorous exercise of long two and half years the curriculum and the courses have been designed keeping in mind the needs of the society and the country and the University Academic Council has finally approved it. At the initial stage, we have offered Post Graduate Diploma in twelve courses and based on the demands and requirements this may be increased in the future to include various other new subjects. Through these courses the students would be able to connect themselvesas the new workforce in the country and abroad. As the largest public university of the country having enrolment of seventy percent of the higher education student, we want to prepare the National University equally a centre for creating a skill-based human force in the country.

Through this unique academic programme we will be able to contribute significantly in materializing Bangabandhu’s dream of building Sonar Bangla. Our new generations would take part in the nation-building activities raising their heads high as Bangladesh being created through the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and millions of people. Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made Bangladesh a role model in the world and has herself achieveda unique leadership position in the world. National University has always been an active part to her endeavor and commitment towards building a developed and smart Bangladesh.

Through the successful beginning of the Skill-based Post Graduate Diploma Programme and by carefully and effectively utilizing this opportunity we can also spread our skilled human force to the whole world.With skill, confidence and global experience our coming generations would become the force to build the country and the world as well. National University Bangladesh is determined to do whatever is needed to improve the quality of higher education in Bangladesh. In the future along with these regular courses other new courses will also be introduced as short courses.
