National University Bangladesh Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Courses

Introduction of the Programme

National University Bangladesh has introduced twelve skill-based Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Courses in order to build a skilled human resource in Bangladesh. The Academic Council of the University in its 95th meeting on 2 June 2022 with Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mashiur Rahman in the Chair, approved this new programme. The new Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Courses are offered in the following subjects:

• 1. Capital Market and Investment
• 2. Cyber Security
• 3. Data Analytics
• 4. Digital Marketing
• 5. Entrepreneurship
• 6. Farming Technology
• 7. Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• 8. ICT in Accounting and Business
• 9. Language Arabic
• 10. Language English
• 11. Supply Chain Management
• 12. Tourism and Travel Management

On 12 June 2022 a Workshop was held on this ‘Skill-based PGD Programme’ at the National Education Management Academy (NAEM), Dhaka where through rigorous groupworks detailed discussions were held on the twelve programmes, on their Course Titles, Course Outlines, Syllabuses, Proposals, Objectives, etc.

The National University has formulated this new academic and physical master-plan on the basis of the demands of the time and the society. This would certainly build a skilled human force for the country and abroad which would take an active part in the efforts to build a new Bangladesh and to become a part of the global citizen.
